Jean Paul Gaultier

So I was looking on WWD a website I cannot get enough of and I fell in love with Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2011 collection. His collection is punk inspired and 3D inspired which I thought was cool since 3D is a huge hit right now. Why not incorporate it into fashion?

Back to School Fashion

So I wanted to stick with the back to school theme when i dod my outfitting today. I wanted to do something for the girl who loves a T-shirt and jeans just like how I am. So I came up with this option. If you are in High School and tanks are not allowed try a cute basic V-neck.

Back to School

So for Back to School I thought I would put together something that is important to me especially with college. I some times am rushing to get to school and don't find time to do my makeup, so I decided to put together items that I always have to have in my makeup bag in my purse that are perfect for on the go!!

So first of all you have to have a cute bag to put it all in that is still compact! My fav bag is the mark. Petite Cosmetics Bag that I love because it is zebra and it is easy to clean and it is only $6! I always have to have my matte-nifficent powder to absorb oil $10. For eyeshadows winksticks are a must because brushes are not needed! I love the colors Demure and Coy and they are $6 each. I always need mascara because it just makes your eyes pop! The mascara I keep in my bag is Scandalash in blacklash which is $6. The last two items I can't live without is my goodglowing blush in cameo glow $7 and glow baby glow lipgloss in peek-a-boo $6. So that is it!! the perfect items for the on the go look!! shop these items on my website at lpereira.mymarkstore.com!

How to wear a Maxi dress

Maxi Dresses are amazing for summer, and you can wear one anywhere! To the beach over a bathing suit, around the house, to a party, etc. but how do you accessorize it???

I have accessorized a maxi dress here that would be perfect for a party after a day at the beach. You can wear this dress over your bathing suit and pair it with a cute beach bag, jewelry, and flats. If you are on the shorter side wear wedges with these dresses because it will lengthen your legs. Again, you can wear this dress with anything, for a cute night out look try it with a blazer.

Braids!!!

Braids where a big hit last summer and once again they are in style this summer! Braids can make a messy hair day look feminine and put together. Now that it is summer and the weather is getting hot swimming, going to the beach, and boating is every ones top priority. After being out in the sun all day hair can feel gross, greasy, or dry which can make you look like a hot mess! That is where braids can become your best friend. I found two looks that I do all the time with my hair in the summer time

This is a look I do allot when I go boating because having to deal with wind is not fun, so when I do a braid like this my hair stays better in place.

This look I love doing when I am going to the beach or even when I go to work because even though it is messy it looks put together.
So these are a couple of looks I wanted to share with you guys for this summer, and experiment with braids and make your own looks because you can do anything with them!

Summer Makeup Must Haves!!!

So Summer is practically here and it is very important to have the right type of makeup!!!! When looking for summer makeup SPF is a very important thing to look at, so I decided to put some items together that would be perfect for summer. First is a tinted moisturizer that has an SPF in it; a good moisturizer that wont break your budget is Mark. Get a Tint tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 $9. Protecting your lips with SPF is also very important so a perfect lip balm to protect and add natural color is Mark. Totally Balmed with an SPF of 15 $8. Having a beautiful glow in the summer is another essential a product I recommend is Mark. Glowdacious illuminating powder that bronzes and highlights your cheeks $12. Waterproof products are also important since moisture is increased in the summer so two products that work wonders are Lash Splash waterproof mascara $6 and Get a Line waterproof liquid eyeliner $6. Lastly cream shadows in vibrant colors are the latest summer trend and the cream eye shadows that I am loving are the Mark. Color Cream for eyes that are inspired from the colors of Rio $6. All of these products are amazing and inexpensive so you can have amazing looking makeup without breaking the bank!! These products can be found at www.mymarkstore.com/lpereira

Spring/Summer Trend

One big trend that I am absolutely loving right now is florals!! They are very feminine and can be accessorized with versatile items like my favorite the denim jacket! If you do not like too much of flowers on a dress, shirt, or skirt try a flower ring, bracelet, or necklace!
